The File Lodge Problem

Recently, File Lodge switched to a different company. In the switch some files were lost, including my entire folder. This is why my links have not been working. I'm working to fix this problem and I should have uploaded all the files by the end of next week. Thanks for visiting.

The next Arnold The Mouse?

Guess what? I made a new song. Once again it's about Jacob, who pisses everyone off. He is my muse. Anyway, it's called Jacob Got Shamed and it's written and sung by Will (a.k.a. Billy who says "hellllo" in this seriously old post). "Shamed" comes from a joke, slang term. It's pointing out that you feel ashamed like "you killed it". The reason this was made is, Jacob started to draw on himself and accidentally cut himself. my teacher ("Desch" if you listen to the song) said "Stop that right now!" and a few students muttered "shamed..." as a joke. Desch replied with "Shamed is right!", which couldn't have been any funnier so Will and I wrote a song about it. Enjoy!

iLife '06 and the new GarageBand

Once again, I am going to talk about a program for mac. If you haven't guessed I have one already, you're a dumbass. No way to get out of it... just plain and simple. Anyway, iLife '06 is out, and it's better than ever. With the original release of iLife, groundbreaking programs such as:
-GarageBand
-iMovie
-iPhoto
These programs revolutionized mac and they way mac users go about using it. iLife '05 introduced iDVD and now iLife '06 is introducing iWeb, an application that allows to to design your own webpage with the structure and professionalism that apple is famous for. Mostly, I am exited about the new features of GarageBand and iMovie. GarageBand 3, as it is called, is designed for podcasts, and video. Now, you can create your own podcasts complete with picture cues and a soundboard for all your little sound snippets. But enough about that. Now, you can import a video file and record its audio track righ in the same program. Soundtrack used to be the only app that could do that, but now, garageband's personal recording feature is added to the mix in GarageBand 3. Tons of new apple loops are added and some have titles like "Newscaster" long medium and short. This is desgned for movies and there are 10+ of these types of audio clips. I will be using GarageBand 3 to complete my "All Me" song.

I'm no cheater!

Recently, I was acused of being a cheater by Andrew, whom's songs are never anything more than a flurry of apple loops, about my song Arnold the mouse remix. He is right. Now I have set out to create a song entirely by me. Not duplicates or "Piss Jacob off" songs. For now, I will call my unfinished song "All Me" I will be constantly updating this post with my progress. This is what I have completed to far -2/1/06-

I'm talking about photo booth. It's a nifty little program that takes pictures of you. There's many different ways to distort yourr face, or make it look cool. This app comes standard with all new G5 iMacs. Of course, this means, you need a good system to produce it. You need at least a 1GHz processor. You'll also need the obvious item... a camera. any form of firewire camera will do fine. You can check out some of the crazy pics I took and I'm hoping to have this program uploaded so everyone can check it out. This program is only for mac.... sorry PC people.

Nintendo WiFi and DS's New Games

In the past, The Nintendo DS hasn't been the best system on the market, and it still isn't. But recently, Nintendo has decided to release many future DS games with WiFi. This means being able to connect to any router and play games over the internet, instead of close proximity play like all the previous DS games. This isn't new to PSP owners, but at least the DS is making an advancement. The to games to be released first with this new feature will be Tony Hawks American Sk8land and Mario Kart. The DS was originally designed for WiFi but has only now, released games to use it. Why Nintendo, why?
But it's not about that. it's about the new games. Tony Hawk is being released tomorow, and it doesn't look so bad. The graphics style is a sort of cartoony cell shaded look making the DS capable of a 3D, free roam, no loading game. You'd expect a cheesy game from DS, but this one's pretty decent. From the looks of it at least. It runs very fluently because it's not running off of a disc or anything; therefore, reducing a chopppy frame rate that the PSP had.
The fact that the DS has a touch screen is very much incoorporated into this game. Now you'll have the ability of making a board design, and shirt logo by drawing it. You can also pull off crazy tricks by using th etouch screen instead of annoying button combos. Everything from the original game is used here except the ability to get off of your board and walk around. All of the multiplayer games like Firefight, Trick Attack, Horse, Combo Mambo, ETC. are in this game along with 5 (I may be wrong) different levels.
This game is not the best looking Tony Hawk game but it IS a Tony Hawk game and PLAYS like one, so if you have a DS, this game is a must.

Other than Tony Hawk's American Sk8land, Mario Kart DS is also coming out for DS, and it looks better than the N64 Version.
